Available plein air artworks

Plein air paintings are made outside, painting directly from the motif.  They are made over one or two painting sessions, in either oils or in gouache.  Painting outdoors allows me to capture an authentic, ever changing light atmosphere.  Working like this allows me to better observe the true colours that working from photographic references often miss.  It’s a method of working that is best suited to quick, decisive and energetic brushwork.
