The  location of scene depicted the Arno river in Florence, Italy, near the Verrazzano bridge.  I painted this en plein air, on location.

When I am out painting, I’m really focused on observing and responding to people and places, creating images that often suggest a story. The painting captures a moment of modern life with expressive brushstrokes and a focus on light and water reflections.
