This still life painting featuring white flowers, arranged in a hammered metal mug, commonly referred to as a Moscow Mule mug. The vibrant copper tones on the lower part of the mug contrast against a blue background and a rich wooden surface, showcasing reflections and light play.  I was really interested in exploring the contrast between the soft, organic texture of the white flowers and the hard, dimpled, reflective surface of the Moscow Mule mug.
