Still life Painting in Oils Workshop
In these, introduction to still life painting workshops, students will learn the methods for painting realistic, luminous still life paintings, painted directly from the set-up. Students will be taught the principles and techniques behind drawing, colour theory and how to believably paint the impression of form and texture, all vital components behind great realistic still-life paintings. The ideas and principles behind good composition will be discussed and the practicalities of how best arrange a set-up for a satisfying still life painting will be demonstrated.
