Are you thinking of commissioning a portrait?

I specialize in portraits that are both realistic and richly expressive of the sitter.

I work mostly from photographic references, but can also paint from life, if it is possible or practical to arrange it.

I paint in oil paint, on archival quality wooden panels for the small sizes, and on stretched linen for the larger sizes.

I can arrange for the framing and the delivery of the paintings.

The length of time it takes depends on the size and the complexity of the portrait, but it could be as short as two weeks for the smaller sizes.
